At eight I started loving the guitar, and as time went by it became one of my main means of expression.

I was exploring the different styles, searching for an identity beyond the traditional frontiers and beyond improvisation, being very attentive to the sounds each guitar could give, when I found an instrument that responded to all my needs in the workshop of Oscar Trezzini.

I obtained different colours and nuances, both subtle and intense, with my multiple scale steel string acoustic guitar as well as with my piccolo guitar, and more especially in the seven stringed Spanish guitar which turned out to be my most important and favourite instrument, and which was Oscar’s idea.

While composing, this particular guitar opens a new universe for me. I also use it when playing alone or in small groups. At first, when I started playing with my seven stringed guitar it was quite unknown in Argentina –it was present in the Brazilian popular music and in the latest electric version of rock. For me, it’s an extension of the six nylon string guitar.

Oscar Trezzini’s art as a luthier is tightly intertwined with his excellent personal nature. We have weaved a beautiful friendship.
