I know that there are some true luthiers who build guitars with passion, with a certain fatherlike affection, one by one, transfering to them their personality, their lirism, their creative will. One of them is Oscar Trezzini.
I know about the unique nature of this metier, in which a good instrument is primarily the result of the luthier’s capacity –the rest depending on the quality of the materials employed. This is how my friend Oscar Trezzini achieves the excellency I find in his instruments.
Raúl Malosetti
Raúl, guitar player and composer, is the son of the luthier Pedro Malosetti.
We are connected not only because it was his father who introduced me to the art of guitar making, but also because I feel there is a natural affinity, as with members of the same family.
When Pedro died some years ago, Raúl gave me -in inheritance- some of his precious wood and tools that, since then, are part of my workshop.
